So my better half already shared the delicious food she made for us today so my
#silentsunday will be a little bit different!
I decided to finally Jailbreak my Kindle! Get KOReader on there with SimpleUI, custom screensaver and a patch to present the books in my preferred order. I'm so happy and ready to read!

Not much to report this lovely
#SilentSunday. I just had a relaxed day with
@dotmargui . We watched like 1 & ½ seasons of Vigil and later we walked to the store to buy some bread.
For dinner I made a potato/carrot and spinach soup topped with some feta cheese and a nice olive oil. Then I desperately tried to honor my Swedish roots with only hours left to spare and made a Gluten-free cinnamon bun mugcake that rose and collapsed like soufflé... tasted pretty good though!
Life update:
Yesterday ended with me and
@dotmargui going for dinner with our very good friends Rui & Abe. One of the best dinners of the year by far. We went to a place called Mesa By The Bey and enjoyed some really good Lebanese food. 🇱🇧
Today we did weekend shopping with Margarida's mom and will have lunch with the grandparents.
I kept the
#Lebanese theme going by buying The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran.
Since it's
#Caturday I will also provide.

@dotmargui .. better late than never!
Oh and "... Is Your Friend" by DRAIN from last year is one hell of an album! Killer bass tone, fun riffs, massive drums and a bulldozer of a vocalist. For anyone that likes... Hardcore punk with Pantera/Slayer riffs! 💪🧔🤟
Directors Cut: I'll include this inventive crispy chicken sandwich I made for lunch. I used Brazilian Flocão(?) and the "Rando Ranch" had parsley, rose pepper and capers..yummy!
Holy sh*t... I got Fee[dB]ack up and running!!! Woohoo!
Time to play the hell out of some Black Sabbath tunes! 🤘

* I got a cheap external soundcard (UMC22) to see if I can get Fee[dB]ack running in
#openSUSE so I can "practise Bass playing open source Rocksmith on my computer".. we'll see tomorrow!
* I'm about to sign a contract that will at least get me salary for the next month with very high chances of more!
* Completely improvised dinner.. tuna knäckebröd pizza and parsnip/spinach soup... surprising homerun if I say so myself! We'll likely make both again.
So I obviously do NOT condone harassment... but that is also precisely why I enjoy the activism by Bits Of Freedom on this one. Good job people!
I could see a future where visually impaired members of society would be permitted augmented reality glasses for aid. I could also see AR without tracking be helpful to humans down the line in situations. But THIS route is cynical at best and even feels astroturfed to me. Like actively attempting to accelerate Surveillance Capitalism. Fuck. That.😊

Just came home from a really nice birthday celebration for my good friend Sara. She recently left Portugal to live in Sweden but traveled back here to celebrate with family and friends.
Lovely people, lovely vegan food, nice space.
And now? Now we rest 😅
My good friends Ricardo and Diogo invited us to celebrate Ricardos birthday. We also met up with our besties Catarina and Manique.
I've missed them both and it was nice to meet them, Ricardos daughter Bárbara and a bunch of familiar faces that all wanted to celebrate Ricardo. We got him a grammophone! As per usual the food and vibes were great.

#PåSpåretToday was a not so
#SilentSunday but all things considered that was ok! I went on a family reunion with
@dotmargui and her parents to Torres Vedras and had a nice buffet for lunch. The Portuguese countryside is beautiful as always and the sun was out all day.
When we came home we put on headphones and took a brisk walk to the ocean and back through a park. I listened to Verkligheten by
#SoilWork.
Now I'll have a light dinner.. some Spanish Gazpacho and parmesan toast.
And tomorrow I'll work!
Spent the day with
@dotmargui and her parents as they took us on a really nice trip to
#Ericeira. We had a really nice lunch at Tasca da Fonte — Boa dos Nabos (

He built it with his partner for children to play and learn about different trades and life. Highly recommended.

• I'm sick as of yesterday. Woke up with a sore throat and a fever. C'est la vie.
• One of my all time favorite guitarists, Andy Williams from the band Every Time I Die, has passed away. Rest in peace
• I released a repo on GitHub yesterday, "rSpec bisect but for PHP Pest". Quite niche but a time save 3-4 times per year for a lot of people I bet.
• I'm gonna be engaging in some Curemaxxing today like watching Batman, tea, ice-cream and chicken soup.
Yesterday we had dinner with
@dotmargui 's parents and our friends in the Rodrigues family, awesome as per usual. We came home a bit late but nothing too bad. Woke up, had breakfast and watched Scooby Doo to heal the soul... and then we headed for the gym! 🏋♂️

#TechIsShitDispatch briefly... it took 15 minutes to get in because I needed to download an app, register on the app, register my email on the gym's phone. It then borked and beeped for a minute before I could enter...

Quick recap yesterday:
We ended up going to the movies to watch the
#Odyssey. At first we went to Madpizza in CascaiShopping... we had "Reuben sandwiches"... which... felt more like ciabatta sandwiches with a hint of cubano's but if one allows pretention to subside they were good, cheap and filling.
Then there was the movie. Almost three hours in length. I actually really enjoyed the pacing and cinematography. Oh, and I've snagged some books as well!

Having lots of fun though!
Went to the beach nearby. Yellow flag day, so we barely dipped in, but it was nice anyway. We grabbed a burger there too that was acceptable. On the way home we swung by a place called Liberty and had syrniki with black currant kompot, smetana and thyme. I love them. Made Toby try a Bumble (coffee + OJ), which is mostly a ticket to acid reflux in our book, but OK. I had sbiten instead.
